Coolers Rail Systems
Complete cooler/ storage systems including infeed/ outfeed conveying, manual or walking beam style indexing and PLC automated controls, designed to customer requirements.

De-hairing Machines
The Sperling “Boss Model 150” H-Control De-hairer’s smooth, powerful hydraulic action responds instantly to its operator’s touch. Injury to hogs is eliminated by constant H-Control and through the flexibility of hydraulic action.

The hydraulic cylinders are activated by a single H-type shift lever, giving the operator complete control of throw-in and throw-out cradles at all times.

The Sperling “Boss” Jumbo line of Hog De-hairers in Models 58, 59 and 60 can handle line speeds in excess of 1,200 hogs per hour.

The “Boss” line of De-hairers offers proven “U” bar design that supports the shaft at each “U” bar, and provides durable and long-lasting installation.

Additional features include:

Heavy duty steel construction.
Grate bars of extra heavy, high quality cast iron.
Cradle bars made of perfectly formed forged steel.
Totally enclosed reducer gears that operate in oil.
Furnishings such as spray pipe, nozzles and valve.

The “Boss” 150 Models are used in line speeds of up to 125 hogs per hour and also incorporate the proven shaft support technology of the Jumbo line.

The “Boss” 150 Models utilize cast iron “U” bars and steel frames. Doors and exterior components are provided in stainless steel where possible.

Units can be driven by hydraulic or electrical motors.

The “Boss” 150 Models are available in two sizes:

Equipped with 12 - 4 point stars, fitted with 4” scrapers and driven by 125 HP, 1800 RPM motor.
Equipped with 16 - 4 point stars, fitted with 4” scrapers and driven by 150 HP, 1800 RPM motor.

The capacity of the machine is dependent upon the size of hogs. Maximum recommended size is 400 lbs. With proper scalding the machine should de-hair up to 20 hogs per hour.

Options:
Automatic lever operation.
Available in painted, galvanized and stainless steel finishes.

Cradle Hog Restrainers
Cradle hog restrainers are available for capacities of up to 100 hogs per hour, and come equipped with entrance ramp and manual or hydraulic discharge door.

Options:
Available in hot dip galvanized carbon steel and stainless steel finishes with UHMW insulating panels

Polishers - Whip and Brush
Sperling “Boss” Total Carcass Poly Whip Polishers.

Custom built for customer capacities.
Complete stainless steel frame and cabinets.
Dimensions: 7'-6" wide X adjustable lengths (according to customer requirements) X 10'- 6" high.
Capacities from 200 to 900 hogs per hour.

Restrainers
Sperling Industries offers a well-built line of hog restrainers for all sizes of hog plants

The unit featured is the Continuous Model used with manual stunning operations.

Dimensions: approx. 6’ wide X 14’ long X 4’ high (not including base).
Capacities of 1,000 hogs per hour.
1HP variable speed drive and hold downs.

Options:
Available furnished with or without stunner platform.
Available in painted, galvanized and stainless steel finishes.

Singers
“Boss” Hog Singers are designed for the demanding production requirements of today’s hog plants. Adjustable duration cycles, zoned burner control, and safety considerations make this unit ideal for diverse plant needs.

Additionally, “Boss” Singers’ multiple modular units allow the equipment to be sized to suit the customer’s specific operations requirements.

Walking Beam Systems
Walking beams provide powered forward motion in the rails for improved working conditions and food safety considerations. Sperling Industries utilizes flat steel track systems for moving hog carcasses through the slaughter floor, chill cooler, and into the processing rooms.
